ABLE Training courses filling up!

In the coming weeks we will be finalising places for our 3 Day ABLE Training Courses in Cork and Dublin.

Places have started to fill up and we only have 2 places left for the Cork Open Course which is due to take place October 8th, 24th & 25th. Early bird tickets for Cork will be ending on September 17th so be sure to book your place before the course is full!

Places in our Dublin Open Course are also filling up fast. The Dublin course is due to take place October 9th, 24th & 25th. Early Bird tickets will be on sale until September 18th.

ABLE stands for Adopt, Build and boundary, Listen actively and reflectively and Empower enhance and end. This four step practical approach is based around the brief intervention model which practitioners can use in their daily practice. The ABLE programme focusses on equipping frontline practitioners with the knowledge, skills and confidence to provide a spectrum of relational support to their clients.

Since the training launched in 2016 we have had some amazing feedback from participants. Some participant feedback from the training includes:

‘The ABEL model equipped me with skills, experience and a strong rationale to empower the families I work with, particularly during times of distress’.

Emer, Specialist Speech and Language Therapist

‘Having done a number of training courses recently on similar themes, I have found this course o be the most beneficial and one I have gotten the most from. Great opportunity to participate in a safe environment. Excellent facilitators.’

Mary, Social Worker
