On Wednesday 17th October members of our team travelled to Dublin for the Irish Healthcare Awards 2018, held at The Clayton Hotel in Burlington Road, Dublin.
Shortlisted under the ‘Patient Organisation Project of the Year’ category, we were delighted to receive a ‘Commended’ for our ABLE training programme.
Hosted by Irish Medical Times and its publisher MPI Media, the Irish Healthcare Awards celebrate innovation, excellence and achievement in the Irish health system and recognise projects and individuals that have made a positive contribution to patient care.
Huge congratulations to the well-deserved category winner, The Irish Haemophilia Society.
Dr Maeve Hurley, founder of Ag Eisteacht, said: “We are a small charity with a passion for supporting those on the front line by giving practitioners the framework and skills they need to maximise outcomes for their clients, while, at the same time, protecting their own time, boundaries and wellbeing.
“To have been in the line-up with such inspiring national initiatives and organisations was fantastic recognition for us and a great vote of confidence in our work.”
