Cork Community Health Network Meeting

Our CEO Maeve Hurley gave a presentation to the Cork Community Health Network in Mayfield Community Development Centre today. The Cork Community Health Network meeting are set up as an opportunity for community and voluntary organisations to work together to promote healthy communities, share best practices and learn from each other. Maeve’s presentation looked at early interventions and how a health visitor is in a prime position to give relationship support.

It was great to hear about the Mayfield Community Development Project from Katherine Dullaghan (Mayfield CDP) also about Acquired Brain Injury and the impact it can have on people from Niamh Buckley and Marianne Walsh (Headway).

We look forward to the next Cork Community Health Network Meeting in the New Year
