On Wednesday 3rd March, Dr Maeve Hurley, CEO of Ag Eisteacht, will present a webinar to an audience of general practitioners via MedCafe, a series of on-line webinars for GPs. This is in association with the Women in Medicine in Ireland Network (WiMIN), an organisation that promotes, supports and encourages female doctors and medical students in Ireland.
As a member of WiMIN and a former GP, Maeve will talk about the power of relationships in general practice and will share the four steps of our ABLE brief intervention model.
MedCafe is an online platform built by healthcare professionals for healthcare professionals to provide education on a range of different topics, delivered by specialists to a medical audience online. Over 3,000 doctors and nurses in Ireland have registered with MedCafe to date and this number continues to grow daily as more highly valued educational modules are added to the platform.
Eoin Newell, founder of MedCafe, said: “We are delighted to have partnered with WiMIN to host a series of educational webinars throughout 2021, delivered by leading female medical experts. We are very excited to be hosting a webinar with Dr Maeve Hurley.”
