We are delighted to announce that the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland, previously an Board Altranais, has renewed their approval of our 3 day Brief Encounters® training for a further 2 years and has granted 18 CEUs for registered nurses and midwives.
Brief Encounters® is valuable for nurses and midwives, preparing them for when clients turn to them during times they experience distress. The skills learned in Brief Encounters® will help you, as a nurse, to recognise and respond to this distress in the course of their everyday work, without feeling overwhelmed.
We look forward to training nurses and midwifes who wish to build on their existing skills as well as gain new knowledge and skills relevant to your work to provide support and empower them to come up with their own solution.
“The Brief Encounters course is relevant to the Public Health Nurse as it enables her to respond more competently and confidently to support couples and parents having relationship difficulties using the tools in the Brief Encounters framework”
Past Professional Development Officer of the ICHN (Institute of Community Health Nursing)
Our next upcoming Brief Encounters® course takes place in Dublin on the 9th, 25th & 26th of February. Places for this course are still available. You can book your place here.
