October Open Courses: Cork & Dublin

Due to high demand, our 3 Day ABLE open courses will be returning to Cork and Dublin this October. Early Bird tickets are available at €250 until the 17th of September for Cork and the 18th of September for Dublin. After this the General fee will be €300. This cost will include a certificate of attendance, course manual and lunch.

Cork | 8th, 24th & 25th of October | Northridge House, Castle Road, Mahon

Dublin | 9th, 24th & 25th October | Wisdom Centre, Cork St., Dublin 8

Since the training was launched in 2016 we have had some amazing feedback from participants. Some of the participant feedback includes;

‘The ABEL model equipped me with skills, experience and a strong rationale to empower the families I work with, particularly during times of distress’.

‘The blended learning style is excellent, the model is easy to grasp and beneficial. Without a doubt learn about yourself both professionally and personally’

The main objective of our training is to equip practitioners with the knowledge, skills and confidence to build and support relationships in their routine work, thus improving outcomes for their patients. ABLE training enhances practitioner’s skills to empathise, relate and respond appropriately to relationship distress. The training shares techniques in building effective working relationships, establishing boundaries, listening actively and reflectively and empowering service users to create solutions to their own issues.

We provide evidence informed insights and knowledge that will help practitioner’s to provide a spectrum of support ranging from promoting peoples’ capacity to build and sustain good quality relationships, to support relationships at times of change and sharing key messages that support clients when relationships breakdown.
