Transition Workshop

Transition is the psychological process people go through to come to terms
with the situation, make sense of it and come to live with it. The transition
process is something that happens over time. It is internal.

A 2-hour virtual workshop to support frontline practitioners through times of change, transition, and crisis. Originally developed to support teachers during Covid-19 to help ease the transition back to school, we have tailored the content so that it is relevant for all sectors. This workshop provides a small group, a peer-to-peer learning experience, and two CPD hours.

“Expectable and desired transitions may create a kind of disorder and displacement in one’s life just as unwanted transitions do” (Source: Cowan & Cowan, 2012, p.6.)

“This workshop provides a framework to consider changes and transitional processes in the workplace. It offers staff time and space to reflect, reconnect and think about additional resources they may need to support them.”
